It looks like they've solved whatever the problems were, so please start to play your games again.

According the rally-point topic in ancients digital league it was the result of a "pretty heavy attack".... [clearly an imperial plot involving the Panzerkampwagonschutzenpferden]

I should report that I got mashed by Gdod's winged hussars and unarmed peasants:

Gdod's Poles slaughtered ahuyton's Russians: 42-15. So 9-1 I fear in terms of points.

A funny game but I will let Gavin recount his tale of gory.

And in my second game against Gavin, a reversal of fortunes

ahuyton's Teutonic Knights defeated Gdod's Poles : 51:25, so 8-2 I think

A tale of Landsknechts punching poor cavalry who did not / could not evade.

Indeed, the Poles were in a jovial mood after their rush to visit the 10 best seaside resorts on Russian Black Sea Coast. No Russian army was going to stand in their way.
Despite an early withdrawal by the Poles back into some woods in the center and galloping headlong back down a sloop away from cannon and musket shot and swarming cavalry on both flanks, they formed up in good order at the bottom of hill with their flanks secure this time, circling around to position themselves to left of the centre woods and the right of the woods near the village of мошонки хачики пысса попки. Pursued relentlessly by the Russian horde, the hussars led a charge back up the slope to the left of the center wood and on the right of the wood sweeping away pike and shot with supporting musketeers. To the left and to the right, the wing hussars charged again and again, even a company of pinned dragoons were caught in the rear and front by these recharges. The devastation in the Russian ranks was complete. All credit to Alan for pursuing so relentlessly with such vigorous confidence in his troops abilities to carry the poles away even though he suspected a trap. However, there was just the desire to escape the Russian's relentless firepower and the fact that both flanks were overly exposed to Cossack and Russian horse

Yes, an unusual mirror of the previous game where the earlier poles didn't have the punch of the later hussars, couldn't find an exposed flank on either side, and basically got scrunched up only to be systematically dissected with pike and Teutonic Tanks!. Well played Alan.

Is there any news of Aryaman? His turn is awaited for some time - not that it is very important but I am just curious. Perhaps he is busy or enjoying a November holiday.

TGM,

is the first figure your percentage lost, or YoungR's? Did you win both battles, or lose them both?

Thanks,

Andre

Section 12 is the first one completed;

…………………………….TheGrayMouser…...Pantherboy………...YoungR

The GrayMouser………….0...…………………….9...…………………….3

TheGrayMouser…………..0...…………………….8...…………………….3

Pantherboy………………...0...…………………….0...…………………….5

Pantherboy………………….3...…………………...0...……………………..2

YoungR………………………..9...…………………….6...…………………….0

YoungR…………………………8...…………………...9...…………………….0

Total...……………………….20...………………….32...…………………….13

So Pantherboy advances to Section 14

TheGrayMouser advances to section 15

YoungR has been eliminated.

Section 11 is now complete;

……………………………..Snugglebunnies…...awesum4......Dilly

Snugglebunnies……………..0...…………………...1...…………..3

Snugglebunnies………………0...……………………..4...………….6

awesum4...…………………….8...…………………...0...…………..0

awesum4...…………………...8...…………………...0...…………..8

Dilly..........................8...................9.............0

Dilly..........................5....................3............0

Total........................29..................17.............17

So Snugglebunnies is well in the lead and advances to section 14.

Both Dilly and I have 17 points, therefore I have decided to withdraw from this tournament and allow Dilly to advance to section 15.

Thanks to both Snuggles and Dilly for 4 exciting games. I look forward to hearing of your exploits in the remaining 2 rounds.

Aryaman seems to have disappeared unfortunately.

If I don't hear from him today then Gdod and Ahuyton will go through to the next round.

I will post the battles to be fought tomorrow. This will be the semifinals, the 6 will go down to 4 for a final round..
