The game gets an excellent 8.5/10 on Historia Games website: http://www.histogames.com/HTML/test/get ... -turns.php.

The main concern is the artillery, which can advance after combat and is so powerful that players tend to use their cannons to gain ground. I suggest that players not advance these units after combat and always place them adjacent to friendly infantry when they move as close as 2 hexes to the enemy. This IMO would lead to a more historical behaviour of artillery in the game.

In addition, a minor problem comes from the "Day 1" scenario objectives, which are the same as for the Campaign. This prevents the players from fighting for the McPherson's and Seminary ridges, as the warring parties did on July 1, 1863.
