When trying to accept a challenge, what password do I have to use?
The password connected to this account doesn't work.
Thx

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
When a private challenge is issued, the password required is determined by the user that issued it. That means the password was issued by the user you are trying to play with so you need to ask him the password. You can use any password you like if you are the one who is issuing the challenge.
Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Do I get this right?
1. Log in to Multiplayer in the Game
2. Look up a Challenge I would like to accept
3. Log in to the Forum
4. Search for the player who issued the challenge
5. Send him a PM asking for the password and hope to get through the paranoia, I would show when somebody unknown asks me for my password.
6. Waaaaait for his response, looking every day in my PMs for an answer.
Result:
Small number of Challenges accepted, as can be seen at the moment. Most of them are there for more than 2 weeks now.
If there is a less convoluted procedure to accept and issue challenges, please let me know.
If there isn't, please please please make one.
Also, if I don't issue a password, there is no lock symbol. Who can log in into this type of challenge.
Everybody?, during the game?
(Do I get to play against anybody who logs in at a stage, first?)

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Passworded games can generally be assumed to be between players who have already arranged it. If you just want to play a game then create an open (unpassworded) challenge and it will be accepted very quickly. We find that most people prefer to accept a challenge rather than post one, which is why open challenges get snapped up very quickly.

Ok, thanks for the clarifications.
The interface implicates a password is mandatory, though.
Perhaps, an explanation "only for private challenges" could be put there?

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Had my first Multiplayer challenge game. A paired "To the bitter End" vs. leobarron2000. He had to resign the first, because it froze. The second just vanished from my gamebrowser. I don't know what happened, so far. To say I'm underimpressed would be a serious understatement. Coming back, when I have calmed down ...
Edit: Received an answer from my opponent.

Seems to me, this is a known issue.leobarron2000 wrote:It locked up again. Apparently the bugs arise when two people are playing on different versions. You were playing on your PC while I was playing on my phone. There is no way to fix it once the game has started and it locks up. I tried to send a message but I could not figure out how to do it. Glad you wrote me.
Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Can I ask you in which day of the scenario have you encountered the freeze? Also can you specify the time of the turn and which side had to make a move? (Axis/Allies) This will help us a lot in finding or determine when and how the issue behaves.
Thank you!
Thank you!

First freeze was very early on the first day with me as the allies. Game froze on the german turn during the impulses phase.
Second freeze was on 26. It was on the allied turn, about midday during the impulses phase. Sorry for the sparsity of info.
