Getting units that are ready to the map

After getting a new computer I had to reload my copy of Europe at War. I also downloaded the most recent update from Maxis. This greatly improved graphics
I now have a problem. Units that are produced and are ready for deployment can't be moved to the map. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?
