It is 1965 and the US ground war in Vietnam is in full swing. As a US Army commander, wage a counter-insurgency (COIN) war to secure the Ia Drang valley, on the border with Cambodia.

That's correct, you'll receive an email whenever the next build goes up. Unfortunately, due to iOS development restrictions, every build needs to be specifically provisioned for all the testing devices it will run on. The previous one wouldn't have had you on the list if you weren't registered at the time, so you'll only get in on the next one. Should be soon! Probably tomorrow.

Seems I did not get in this round. Hunting Charlie will have to wait until the next version .

The game is launching in March, so it is unlikely, but on the plus side won't be long and you will be able to get it on App Store or Steam :)
