i'm new to this...

can players on different platforms, say pc vs ipad, play pbem games?

Yes, but only using the original "Pike and Shot" game, not "Pike and Shot Campaigns".

This is because changes of policy by Apple regarding 32-bit programs made it impossible for us to bring out "Pike and Shot Campaigns" on iPad, and "Pike and Shot Campaigns" is not PBEM compatible with "Pike and Shot".
