Carryover Skins
I'm making a 1941 scenario and have a StuGb that I have skinned from that time (Wehrmacht Grey)...but when the unit is a carryover to the next scenario, it appears in the default colour...how do I keep the originally set colour?

Re: Carryover Skins
Because it is a 'new' unit you would need to find and reskin the units in the prestart scripting.

Re: Carryover Skins
Oh?! I'm just using the editor to assign slots for carryover units...so I'm not even sure where that unit will appear. Seems trickier than I thought....might have to forgo aesthetics.
Thanks Pip.
Thanks Pip.

Re: Carryover Skins
Just a note that you can override unit skins by creating a DATA/BATTLE/UNITTEXTURES folder in your campaign and placing the altered unit textures into it, and it will then use them as the 'default' texture for the unit.

Re: Carryover Skins
Ahhhh...that helps, thanks Pip!
If all goes well on my next playtest glenghiscan...very soon!
I'm planning a series of small (3 scenario) campaigns entered around the development of the GrossDeutschland, from an infantry regiment at the outset of Barbarossa (the first campaign) to ultimately the division at the end of war....baby steps though.
They are single player campaigns that utilize the Random Enemy plugin (because, I want to play them too! LOL!)

Re: Carryover Skins
Thanks for the offer...the campaign is pretty close now...just a couple of dialogue tweaks. Should be posting shortly.
Already looking ahead to the next one...
