FEEDBACK: Automated Account Generation Problem

It looks like the Slitherine forum has been subject to an automated account creation bot. Since as far back as January, perhaps even further, very many accounts have been created with random user names and none of the accounts ever post anything. See below, for example:

memberlist.php?first_char=u&start=1500
