Richard,

You are quite correct. I've fixed it. See -- this scoring system encourages the reporting of losses, even. Ha!

Everyone should be on the lookout for possible errors like this.

Best regards,

John

Hrothgar as Russians 1560-97 win [12%] vs. Ulysisgrunt as Ottomans 1560-1609 loss [40%]

The Ottoman cavalry was concentrated on his left, and it thoroughly routed the Russian's right-wing cavalry. However, the Russian streltsy significantly outnumbered the Ottoman janissaries, and were able to take advantage of a wood near the center of the field, driving off the Ottoman light infantry. Meanwhile, the Russian left-wing cavalry, supported by half the streltsy and the guns in the center, were able to overcome the attacking janissaries and put them to flight.

Congratulations Hrothgar! Well played.
My flank march of 9 units never arrived!

Ah, that explains it! I thought your units were just more expensive than mine. Good thing for me that I was able to win before the flanking units showed up. Might have ended differently.

Looks like I am missing a game against general grunt.

Dutch vs Spanish deadtorius (13%) wins vs ulissysgrunt (45%)

Russian vs Imperialist deadtorius (24%) wins vs ulissysgrunt (50%)

Not sure which game was missing so I put up scores for both games.

Result Pod B

flatsix518 (46%) Scots Covenanter 1639-1641 won to shawkhan2 (61%) English 1634-1641

Khan and I squared off on a battlefield that really favored me. On my left was a large wood that prevented much maneuver against my left flank. On the right was a small wood. In the middle were a number of hills/ridges that proved very helpful. I was able to set my guns back towards my rear, but still have a good field of fire into the enemy center. I was able to contain my left pretty well with a small number of units. Although an English dragoon unit did eventually break through on that side to cause me grief in my rear areas. In the center, a really well positioned hill afforded me a position of advantage that once reinforced led to a defeat of the English center. On my right I maneuvered a large group of cavalry around the English left flank and into the rear of his left and center. The small woods was contained by a couple of my units. With his center sagging and my cavalry swarming the rear and flanks of his unit -- it looked like early certain doom for the English. At one point, the score was 20% to 44% -- I expected to win at any moment. Unfortunately, Khan had preserved a reserve and really played well tactically and started to threaten to take away the win. In the end, there were just too many Scots and numbers prevailed.

Good game.

deadtorius (56%) victorious vs Susji (64%)

As you can see it was a close and bloody game. Huguenots (me) vs Spanish, all armed with arquebus. I had two Swiss units that I only figured out part way through the game were superior no elite, guess I got the cheap Swiss. Th Spanish Tercios proved to be a tough opponent and the only way I was able to prevail was to attack one with 2 or 3 units, and even then it took forever. The Spanish horse proved to be better than my Huguenot horse and the Spanish managed to rout all my cavalry but my foot managed to win the day for me in the end.
A great game thank you Susji.
