Ver 1.02 Steam.
Hi,
I need some help today. My game crash when i'm trying to open a lesson, any lesson from the bootcamp directory : "Close Combat Executable Engine Has Stopped Working"
Curiously other scenarios from Battles directory work fine. i tried to copy the files from the bootcamp directory to the Battles directory but the game crash again with an internal message error, with this information : version 2015.1.29.0.
Any idea ?
Thanks.

Sorry for the delay on responding.
Please verify the integrity of the game cache, just in case if any of the files is corrupted.

Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Hi boudi,
Have you modified the game files or installed modified game files for Gateway to Caen? This can cause the game to crash. Also are you running the bootcamp lessons from the game's command screen, via the 'Boot Camp' button? If you moved the bootcamp lessons to another folder by hand and then tried to run them as 'normal' scenarios that won't work. They are special files.

Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Hi VPaulus & SteveMcClaire , sorry for the delay. Thank your for your answers.
I checked the cache with the steam apply, steam have detected no problem.
I launch steam, from the steam library i launch my game. The starting game window opens. I click on "play the game", then "boot camp button", then "lesson 1" (or any lesson to number 5) and the game crash.
Curiously as i said scenarios from battles directory work fine.
Lesson files are under the "bootcamp" directory, copiyng them to the battle directory was just a cancelled try.
i never modified any file, any directory.
It's very curious. If all scenarios crash i would have understood, by exemple my videocard or my cpu could be under the minimun spef. But no, battles scenarios work fine...
I can try to reinstall the game but Steam detect no problem with the files, i doubt it solves my problem.

Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Where's the game installed? In your Windows documents folder?
Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Yes it is.
Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Please install it in another Steam library folder folder, like for example C:\Games\Steam\.....
Check this guide on how to add a new Steam library folder:

I hope that you are not also running the Steam program from the Windows Documents folder.
Windows Documents folder is not an ordinary folder. This might create issues with the programs if you run from there.

Re: Game crash with bootcamp scenarios
Thank you VPaulus you're right. The problem came from the document folder. I did'nt know. Thank you also for the steam process for a new library folder.
