Different skins

Re: Different skins
With the profileration of new quality skins available I have a question to the devs.
It would be useful to be able to add skins to a scenario or campaign folder and then add these skins to on-map or spawned units, player- or AI-owned.
These could really add immersion to scenarios and campaigns.
Skins should be expanded to air and naval units as well. The various camos changed quite a bit during the war, also for these units.

Re: Different skins
I discovered that there is a limit of 23 skins not to be exceeded. Another skins here : standardized desert camo 41 and standardized desert camo 42. Here is the result
Re: Different skins
@nono (I hope I can address you that way )
Very well-chosen colors.
I like your projects, maybe I would lighten German Early Camo 39/40 a bit.

Re: Different skins
I think that there is no limit with the number of skins. I have actually 84 active skinsnono hard et heavy wrote:I discovered that there is a limit of 23 skins not to be exceeded.
Be carefull with the name. Do not use the caracter "_" in the name. Ex "german_22_land_germany.png" does not work.
Your skin german_22 is too dark.
-Your original "german_22" skin :
-Your "german_22" skin with brightness +20 (Paint.net) :
-Your "german_22" skin with brightness +30 (Paint.net) (maybe the best ?):

Viking PzRgt orange camo darker (for Terminator )

Re: Different skins
I was just saying that if there was a choice between the green or the orange, I would definitely vote green. Just not crazy about the orange But kudos still for all the work you put inkondi754 wrote:and now?Navman2854 wrote:kondi754 wrote:Summer '44 eastern front next camos.
1. green - 7th kompanie, II. Abteilung, 5th SS-PzRgt, 5th SS-Viking Panzer Div., eastern outskirts of Warsaw, early August 1944
2. orange - an unidentified unit from the 5th SS-PzRgt, 5th SS-Viking Panzer Div., Warsaw surroundings, August 1944
The Viking division destroyed 107 Soviet tanks, for the price of 6 own tanks lost during the battles in Poland in early August 1944
Green, definitely green
I corrected this camouflage (compare with the original )

You're right my fiend (if I can call you so). When the game and the answer are in English, it's very difficult to me. But, i try your solution and great, it's work. Re: Different skins
Need some Italian patterns.
Re: Different skins
Are all of these historical camouflages or are you experimenting now, kondi? There are so many, it feels like every tank was painted different colour in ww2!

Re: Different skins
Hello. Answer to my question by Kondi : Camo for Italians doesn't work, aircraft and warships - the game designers didn't foresee the use of camouflage (only land vehicles and guns), at least for this moment. Also, infantry units don't have the possibility to change uniforms. Wait.Carius wrote:Need some Italian patterns.
Re: Different skins
I try to make my camouflages as compatible as possible with the historical ones.13obo wrote:Are all of these historical camouflages or are you experimenting now, kondi? There are so many, it feels like every tank was painted different colour in ww2!
While creating them, I'm based on real ones, I think that another path doesn't make sense.
When it comes to German painting of vehicles, it was very modest until 1942.
The real development of camouflages is the battle of Kursk.
As part of one large tactical unit, which is a division or even an armored regiment, the variety of camouflage was enormous.
It can be said that each company had its own painting.
The truth is also that other patterns were painted on artillery units vehicles and guns, so here's a bit simplified.

Ferdinand N°150100
The last one Ferdinand: the Ferdinand N°150100 Niebelungen
The vehicle always carries its rust-proofing red livery and was covered by the workers of the factory of grafitis in the chalk.
