Think big! Tokyo should be the end of the eastern route!Igor1941 wrote:Forward to Baghdad!Horst wrote:El Alamein is the end of Rommel's road anyway, so the Nile and Suez Canal shouldn't really matter.
I'm rather worried about Tiger H tanks (1/10/1942) in the Second Battle of El Alamein (23/10 - 11/11/1942) later. Oh, this will be fun smashing Matilda II tanks left and right there. That would definitely justify the crossing of the Nile and Suez later!

If Axis landing in Malta is expected , who knows if our pioneers will have to build a bridge over the Nile.Horst wrote:El Alamein is the end of Rommel's road anyway, so the Nile and Suez Canal shouldn't really matter.

The first Tigers appeared in Africa 2 weeks after El Alamein ....
It will be difficult for me to accept such a situation.
They can appear after the victorious battle of El Alamein in the next scenarios ...

OOOOOOOO DAK!!!! (almost faints). Just a little side note here guys, my dad was USAF during the 60's and we spent 4 years in Libya ('62-'66) at Wheelus AFB. I was in 2nd-6th grade so a little young at the time and not quite yet heavily into WW2 history. Wish I had been a little older....
Re: Order of Battle: Sandstorm is coming!
Great news ! Looking forward to it
Wish the artistocrats wouldn't go for all these huge gamechanging mechanics every DLC, instead add more unit types, diversify troops and stop with the darn resource starvation.
Had a blast with Panzerkrieg, so looking forward to this one so much, but i have serious concerns as well.

Awesome!!!
Re: Order of Battle: Sandstorm is coming!
Two quick questions if I may:
1. When does the beta start?
2. How long was Panzerkrieg beta?
Just trying to gouge an estimate (using non-proprietary information) of when to expect the DLC.

Re: Order of Battle: Sandstorm is coming!
Something I'm very interested in is we're to get sandstorms. This, although I'm speculating, will be a game impacting weather effect. To my knowledge weather influencing the game is a totally new feature, please correct me if I'm wrong.
To this end, does this mean the game can now potentially support fog, rain, cloud cover etc impacting gameplay?

Re: Order of Battle: Sandstorm is coming!
I hope we'll get some weather conditions affecting air and maybe ground conditions.
One of the things I like about PzC is the grounding of air units and the weather prediction for the next turn.
Adds to the gameplay.
