Burma road let's play (replay style)
Hi everyone!
I'm doing a let's play on Burma road, but instead of making videos on youtube I will be using game replays. Eventually, I will post a replay for each scenario in the Burma road campaign, I will be playing on middle difficulty.
To view a replay you just need to download it, unzip it and place it into the "Replays" folder. After that open the game replay from the game menu.
Enjoy!

Sittang bridge added. I'm really surprised by the lack of any secondary objectives which makes the scenario much less difficult compared to previous scenarios. I would suggest to add some secondary objectives like:
- prevent any damage to indian infantry
- shoot down X enemy aircraft
- repair the bridge
- send 3 more indian infantry and add RP reward for each one that makes it to other side

Re: Burma road let's play (replay style)
Race for Rangoon added.
Overall it was a very enjoyable DLC, but I think some improvements could have been made. For example:
- Advanced aeronautics doesn't seem to do anything (I was expecting to get Gloster Meteor planes)
- some missions lack secondary objectives
Please let me know your feedback on my playthrough. Feel free to post replays of your own to compare play styles.

Re: Burma road let's play (replay style)
the campaign is fairly buggy, though most won't notice.
several units have bad or missing values, wrong dates of entry, etc. As you note, the Gloster Meteor is missing, and actually even though you can take advanced aeronautics as a specialization, there is NO associated plane! obviously, the meteor was supposed to be the plane you would get if you took that specialization... but it is missing in the data file.
I'm thinking of stealing someone else's jet in the file, and giving it to the British with the name "Gloster Meteor", even if the model isn't correct.
after all, the meteor was the ONLY jet on the allies side that actually saw active service in WWII.
edit:
it was easy enough to mod the csv to add the P80 to the RAF as the option for "advanced aeronautics". works peachy, even if it is the wrong plane. I just pretend it's part of the lend-lease act.
