Order of Battle v.4.1.7 Update
Hi all, we are releasing a new update for Order of Battle, accompanying the latest DLC Burma Road.
You can download it from the Members' Area or from the following links:
PC
Mac
Changelog:
New content:
• 70+ new units
• 5 New specialisations for the British army and air force
• New DLC ownership bonuses:
• Australian Commandos in the US Pacific campaign for owners of Burma Road,
• Air commander Saito in the Rising Sun campaign for owners of Morning Sun
• A 2cm Flak gun - with ground attack mode - in Blitzkrieg for owners of Kriegsmarine.
• Units with low base movement points are no longer prevented from moving into certain higher-cost terrain types. For example, engineers can now move through dense forests.
• "Mountain Gun" movement type (and unit trait) allows certain light artillery pieces to move through mountain hexes
• "Precision Strike" unit trait allows certain tactical (dive) bombers to be more efficient at damaging weakened targets.
• USA, Japan and Britain now available on the "Ocean Point" skirmish map in multiplayer, provided the necessary DLCs are unlocked.
Bug fixes:
• Cooperate multiplayer scenarios fixed
• Combat prognosis fixed for naval units moving closer or further away to their target.
• Kiev (Blitzkrieg) and Lapland (Winter War) bugs fixed that could prevent the "kill enemy units" objectives for working correctly.
• Commanders can no longer be attached to a hangar

Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.1 Update
This is not a standalone game installation file. It is a patch that requires you to have the game installed already. If so, just run it and it will update the game to version 4.1.1.*
If you don't have the game installed, you will need to click the Members' Area link that AlbertoC provided above but only after you have logged into your member account. You can download both the basic game (v2.4.8 ) and the update (v4.1.1) from here (click the image):
* The game will auto-update to version 4.1.7, as of right now, after it has been updated to 4.1.1 with this patch.

Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.1 Update
As far as installing game, patch, and DLC, I can not be so definitive. I can only tell you what works for me. Here are my notes:
Note what I said about "Just in case: Run the 4.1.1 update again after all DLC has been installed." I do this because I have never been able to figure out why two DLC files have such large file sizes compared to the others:
The purpose of all the DLC exe files is to record your game keys, of course, but Morning Sun and Marines seem to also contain content. That worries me in that if I patch first, then run these two files, are they copying old content over new, patched content? That is why I run the update again.
[This is Windows PC, of course. Sorry about not being able to talk about Mac. Same ideas, I would assume, with those files.]
Anyway, success! And away we go! To Burma, that is.

Good to see those Cooperate multiplayer scenarios are fixed. I been wanting to give them a try.
Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.1 Update
Since the latest update, the custom campaign button is gone. It's grayed out. I have all the DLCs but no custom campaign button. Any Idea's? I reinstalled the game twice and the issue is still the same. I deleted the My documents OoB folder, deleted and reinstalled the game and that didn't work either. I don't know whats wrong.

Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.1 Update
It's not you. It's something that cropped up in an auto-patch (4.1.4?). It was addressed in a beta patch (4.1.5) which is available here. When the next public patch is released (the developers are working on other issues), everybody will have the custom campaign button back but for now, you may want to manually patch to 4.1.5.cedonxp wrote:Since the latest update, the custom campaign button is gone. Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.7 Update
Hi,
I've never understood this, can someone explain why I can't deploy this reserve unit, in this case a plane? As you can see, I have ample plane CPs and as you can see, I also have 95 RPs.
The message is 'I don't have enough air supply' - where is this figure shown, how much do I have and why am I short? I was able to deploy TWO Ki-10's on this turn but not a single A5M4.

Take a look at an airfield or carrier while holding the space bar.
This shows the air supply, similar to land supply.

Re: Order of Battle v.4.1.7 Update
So, am I right in understanding that it's the supply available on the specific deployment hex, (land, air, sea etc) that is used and not the total available supply? How do I know how much Supply is needed to deploy a reserve unit?Erik2 wrote:Take a look at an airfield or carrier while holding the space bar.

I've finally worked it out - thanks Erik.

Yes, each location may have its own supply level, from zero to 200.
This is a nice tool for a scenario designer in addition to the command points. You can tailor the available deployment options.
