Game(s) like PC and OOB

I have really enjoyed Panzer Corp (and before that Panzer General) and Order of Battle but have played it so much that I need new scenarios/campaigns or a new game.

Can anyone suggest a game like PC and OOB?

What I really enjoy are the long campaigns and carry over of core units coupled with a relatively "basic" game design like PC and OOB.

You may also try Frontline:The Longest Day or Frontline:Road to Moscow.

If you're bored, personally I recommend you the Battle Academy series or Unity of Command. It's true this is not exactly what you're looking for but both series are great.

Have you tried the mods for PzC? Those add hundreds (if not 1000+) new scenarios to the game and don't cost anything.

Gog has the original Panzer General (2) along with Fantasy General I think.

There's a Polish/Russian spiritual successor to Fantasy General, called Fantasy Wars, which is on Steam and isn't too bad.

I think the problem is the PC/OOB genre is a niche within the strategy niche. Everything beyond these games tend to have a specific type of gameplay, it isn't as "casual" as some of the more hardcore war nuts like to think. What's the term they use? Beer and Pretzel war games. Beyond PC/OOB it gets a bit more simulation-centric, which is fine if you like that sort of thing.
