Is GWTC a new game title or just expansion of PITF

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

Is GWTC a new game title or just expansion of PITF

Some people say GWTC is just an independent expansion of PITC because it uses the same engine of PITF

So is it a new game title or expansion?

Gateway to Caen will be a separate, stand-alone game. It is not an expansion to Panthers in the Fog.

So what's the engine?

Will it be CCE7.0 or still CCE6.0 like PITF?

It will be based on the PitF engine, with updates as needed to support the EPSOM campaign.
