Love this game so far.

Any way to play multiplayer without hotseat? Can I save the game and pass it to a friend?

Hotseat by now the only way to playing with other people.
You can not save game when you are in mission.

Too bad. I play games like this with a coworker, and it'd be nice if he wasnt' at my desk all day.

With friends can be played using the program TeamViewer.
