Not really a bug but not sure if a scenario design snafu or by intent

All the front line Bucellari have swords only, no lance. If they also had normal bows i would think design decision, however they have the weaker rear rank bow which makes me believe the lances should be there? (other wise i have no idea in a MP match how the byzantine player, outgunned by 2-3 times as many of armoured full bow superior clibs
AND lance cats is going to have much of a chance)
