When Battle Academy is eliminated from the IOS AppStore ....

Post by DonCzirr »

Forgive my lack of knowledge in this area ... it's always been a bit murky for me.

For BA and BA2, when they are eliminated from the AppStore, I'm guessing the purchasable DLC campaigns etc will also become unavailable, even though you have the App on your device?

If so, would it be possible, since Slitherine would no longer be able to sell it, to make it available like some of the user designed scenarios, where you copy the link and it downloads to your device?

I guess this would apply to P & S as well.

It wouldn't be simple, as it would mean reworking some of the data in the packages. But IIRC if you are still able to run the app you will be able to purchase the DLCs as IAP.

Hmmm - that's interesting.

So DLC for 32 bit apps stays on and available even if the core App is removed ?

That would be good if it did. I'm just surprised that Apple would keep DLC for Apps it removed for sale.
