Cloud Saves on IOS? Transfer Campaign ?

Post by DonCzirr »

Hi All,

Does anyone know if you can transfer your progress in a campaign across devices?

I am switching iPADs and am a couple of missions into the Barbarossa campaign and would like to import one of my saved games from the old device.

Is that possible?

We don't support cloud saves on iOS. If you are able to access the basic file system you can just copy across the save files and it will all work, but I know Apple try and close any file access loopholes with each release of iOS.

Ah Pip - you are quite informative - although you don't always tell me what I want to hear. :) Thanks for the info

When you say that "We don't support cloud saves on iOS" - is that a general Slitherine policy? Just for the STUB engine games?

Just out of curiosity, why would Slitherine not support that?

It seems that it would be a nice / convenient feature to provide to customers ....

It wasn't a decision really, it just never got implemented. It is definitely handy now and again, especially when changing devices.

Cheers
