Pip - question on MP in BA2. There seems to be a real flaw in multiplaying that makes it kinda easy to cheat. If I want to determine opposition force locations in my turn, I can just blunder about and if I get pinged I can simply close the game (not uploading to server) and then start again. Unless I save to the server that activity just doesn't exist. And of course i can replay with the appropriate new activify. Not sure if this is doable on PC but it certainly is on iPad. Am playing folks know that seem to know exactly where my forces are which really undermines playability in MP. Ay thoughts on this? Will this be addressed in BA2?

We track game downloads and uploads on the server side. Anyone who attempts to do what you suggest is spotted by this system and appropriate action is taken :).

That said, we do want to include some automated turn saving in BA2 to help deal with those annoy situations where games crash or connections drop. The main issue are the edge cases where people are playing on multiple platforms/machines and avoid over-writing turns etc.

Cheers

Will there be small Naval Skirmishes such as Soviet Landings during the Winter War and again in 1944 in the Baltic?

I don't believe that we are planning any naval engagements.

plea for prioritizing multi-player

I really, really, really hope that BA2 is designed primarily for multi-player, including the capability for team v team play. It is all I want for Christmas really.

More importantly, how is it progressing? I hope to see waves of Soviet infantry charging my MG 42's in Stalingrad :D
