New to BA series - newb query
New to the series and loving it. There are a lot of forum posts so I'm hoping someone will have the patience to answer my query. With the expansion packs, which one does unit experience carryover start? That would be the biggest enhancement to the game/simulation I would like to see, experience carry over for existing units. On this note it would be very enjoyable to "click" down another level and see the experience of the unit and even names of the individuals in the unit. Will the name feature and experience be a part of future BA products?
Have really enjoyed the base game and looking forward to completing the expansion packs.
Great work Slitherine/Matrix, please keep at it.

Naming and experience make more sense in game where you tend to carry forward units from battle to battle. But that said, it is on our wishlist!

Re: Welcome to the BA2 forums!
The churchill III was a heavy tank.
It had the same thickness of frontal armour as a tiger I.
The Russian ones you could use in the Kursk campaign have only armour value 58 , that's the same as a medium tank.
Please BA 2 team could you correct this?

Re: Welcome to the BA2 forums!
The design team will need to respond, but the value is designed to reflect both the armour thickness and also any other variables, such as armour quality, slope, general survivability after a strike, etc. It is not a mm value e.g.
