Multiplayer function does not work

Hi - I have an error message that prevents me from playing multiplayer.
ie - your game client is out of date - please update game through launcher.

Where do I find the launcher? Help much appreciated - Regards Dave

when you click on the game shortcut, it brings up a screen, on the screen it says check for updates etc

that's what called a launcher, as it launchers the game
