Hi,
I just reinstalled the game, with all the addons onto my new laptop, which is running Windows 10.
Alas, I get the splash screen but when I click on "PLAY" absolutely noting happens.
Help.
Thanks
Frank

Open the game installation folder and find a file named "SOWGB.exe". Run it.
Do you receive any error message?

I don't have a file called SOWGB.exe.
The only called anything similar is : SOWGB.SOW

Then the game is not correctly installed.
How have you installed the game? From a disc?
From a downloaded game file installer? What's the name of that file?

That would explain it, I guess.
Download from Primus in 2013.
SOW-GETTYSBURG-SETUPRELEASE-V150 and same name format (or DLC) for all the other mods, except Brandy Station, which is 161

That's the correct game file installer.
Is your anti-virus McAfee?

The issue is related with McAfee. McAfee "thinks" that "SOWGB.exe" is a virus and remove it.
It's what we call a false positive.
You'll have to create an exclusion scanning area for the game folder and/or add "SOWGB.exe" to the exclusion list in the McAfee program.
Otherwise you won't be able to play it.
