Baden Garde du Corps

Since getting the History Book Man's (http://www.thehistorybookman.webeden.co ... 4579739019) book on the Baden Army, I had to do the Garde du Corps. I was taken by the uniform since seeing years ago it in the Funcken book. There were at one time 2 squadrons. One was used as the cadre for the 2nd Baden (light not heavy) Dragoons. The 1st squadron saw no action except as the escort for the King. The uniform was similar to the early period Russan cuirassiers - main differences are silver metal and a white comb on the helmets but the horse furniture was more like that of the French heavy cavalry. Since I wanted to use AB figures I was stuck with Russian horse furniture or a complicated conversion. I went the easy route. Still need to do the bases...
