Soft sand

Post by ochoin »

SS is, of course, a terrain type for arid terrains. To be honest, I’m not sure what it exactly is, let alone how it should look.

Up to now, I’ve used a naff piece of felt but feel I need to make several examples in a pleasant & suitable manner.

The terrain type BTW is “meat & sandwiches” for Medium & Light Infantry, difficult to varying degrees to all other troop types.

So: how do you show it? suggestions & links entertained.

I am working on trying to use low sand dunes to represent soft sand. Have not been really happy with the the way the few I have done have turned out but will try again.

They would do nicely.

He's dribbled something on the base or used cardboard cut-outs. I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the link.
