Cancon FOG N Tournament - Canberra, Jan 26-28 2018
I am pleased to announce that we will be running a FOG N tournament at CanCon in January 2018.
The tournament will be 800 points using 15mm armies. We will be using the v2 rules with the lists adjusted for the v2 changes (but not wholly re-written).
The event will run over 5 rounds as follows:
Friday 26 Jan - 2 rounds
Saturday 27 Jan - 2 rounds
Sunday 28 Jan - 1 round
We've had interest from players in Sydney, Melbourne and NZ so it promises to be a great event.
Entries should be open on the Cancon website from 20 Sept or so. Please get your entries in as soon as you can, as the organisers will shut off entries as soon as they run out of space.

I've paid/registered.
I think this will be my first comp with a reformed army. Now that initiative doesn't matter I think it may be time to break out the Swedes.

Re: Cancon FOG N Tournament - Canberra, Jan 26-28 2018
Results of the tournament last weekend.
1st place - Mike Haycock from NZ with 1809 Ottomans
2nd place - Martin Williams from Sydney with 1813 Swedes
3rd place - Richard Stubbs from Melbourne with 1813 Prussians
Other armies used:
Austrians in Italy in 1809 x2
Peninsular French 1810
Russian 1812
Russian 1813
Prussian 1806
Mamelukes
English in Flanders 1794
Peninsular British 1813
So a good variety of reformed, unreformed and a few irregular armies.
We had a lot of interest in the rules from players from around the country so I expect a few new players will be competing in future tournaments.
Thanks to Geoff for donating the trophies.
