Best way to deal with North Africa as Axis

Post by Tex01532 »

Picking CEAW GS 3.1 up again after a lengthy hiatus. What is the best way to "handle" North Africa?

Typically what I've done in the past is move my Italian air forces to Benghazi and Tobruk along with my Italian tanks, and a couple corps to reinforce the Mech, and two corps already there. (Allow the Germans to mop up Yugoslavia and Greece on their own). I let the allied player come to me, encircle and eliminate. Then it's moving along to Egypt and so on. I've always accepted the armistice with France prior to this.

Should I be sending more German units to assist and speed up my conquests?
Should I not accept the armistice and go after the French North African ports to get Franco involved?

Thanks,

Probably smarter to download GS v4.0 since most players have switched to that version.
