Oke the victory problem Low Countries is fixed (v1.09) there are 9 victory hexes now instead of 6. This will work.

Beside steam trains the Dutch had modern electric trains as well. If you destroy them all you get some prestige points Herr General. (Low Countries incoming)

Update v1.09 Online now.

Have a look at Low Countries. It's still not ready but have improvements now.

It is possible to redesign the images to .BMP format to have better quality, even if it increases 1 GB more. ?

As far as I know PNG files for the unit images and Big unit images, JPG for the startscreens. The scenario intro's can be PNG or GIF files. I do not know if the game takes BMP files....but sorry, even if it is possible I do not start again by redesign to BMP. Life will be to short for that :)

NEED HELP

I have a technical problem.

I need to give a proper function to the DUKW but it don't work like I want it.

What works: Put down a infantry in the sea, give it a normal truck, give it a Landing craft. - You can go to the beach and unload the infantry with the truck.
What will not work: Put down a infantry in the sea, give it a DUKW truck, give it a DUKW Landing craft. - You can go to the beach but NOT unload the infantry with the truck.

This looks like the same combination. The DUKW in the sea is just a landing craft with a different picture. The DUKW truck is a truck but the type of movement is 15 ! This movement is amphibius and not a movement type of the original Panzer Corps if I am right. I think this is the problem. Do I have to add movement type 15 somewere in a textline? or is it another kind of problem?

WHO CAN HELP ME?

Hello Phcas: Just one idea for you to try...

1) Give the DUKW land transport just the regular wheeled movement type (the same as a regular truck).
2) Test if this scheme works correctly.
3) If "2" is true, then try adding a switch to the land transport unit making it possible to switch to the new amphibian move type from the regular wheeled type after it has disembarked...

May be you can make it work that way, at least for a human player.

Thanks for the support guille1434. It is fixed now and works fine and looks good. After trying everything I found out that the line of the "sea transport" DUKW was a little different of that of my 3 other sea transports. Cost and ammo things. I thought this was not important but at the moment I made that the same as the others everything was fine!

Too bad we cannot take profit from the possibility of having several type of sea transport type units with different stat values... This way we can only have "cloned" units with all the same stats and cosmetic (visual) differences. But well, its better than nothing.

Update v1.10 is out now. Upgrade for Low Countries. Introduction of the DUKW for US/UK/Canada. You can storm the beaches of Sicily 43 now with DUKWs, have a try. Come out of the sea and use your DUKWs as trucks that can cross the rivers inland.


I will be offline for a few days. I go to France tomorrow to visit Paris Le Bourget Museum, Saumur Tank Museum, Orandour sur Glane and Lorient La Base U-boat museum :)

hi , i m french ! and good choice for your trip.

u should just add the museum of arromanche in normandy ! and visit the Merville bunker ( you lived while 10 min the attack and the bombing, it is impressive)

Hello jeff00t, I am from Holland. We have bin to Normandy more times. We were there for a week a few years ago. I saw it all more times. Very impressive to be on the grounds where it realy happened. I have bin on many ww2 sites already. Russia, France, UK, Swiss (yes they have a collection), Belgium, Germany and so on. From the Normandy beaches to the Eagle nest and underground bunker of the Berghof. From the Valentine U-boot bunker to deep under the ground in the Maginot line and the Cabinet war rooms in london. Near Moscow I was on the only surviving Maus. We gave some dollars to the guards and could enter all armored vehicles in the collection. A little problem was that most of them were burnt out from the inside, but is was still great. I have bin to Saumur more times but also to Bovington Tank museum UK. Imperial War Museum and Duxford airfield UK. In Russia I was at the maximum point the Germans came near Moscow. There is a memorial at that point and the destroyed panzers are still there. Realy great are the sites near Calais. From the Todt bunkermuseum to the V2 La Coulpa, V1 & V2 Blockhaus and the V3 Site!!

I am afraid I am a ww2 nerd I have about 1000 books about it. But all this experience will help me with my MOD :)

We go for 4 days with 7 people. Were do you live in France jeff00t?
