Two questions
Q1) I am just going through gcwest42/43 with your upgraded version. (In addition to the origional designed scenario) I have aquired an SE fighter and fighter bomber. This is in addition to the 4 SE tanks I have. I notice the max number of SE units for gc west 44 is five. I intend to have the maximum amount of SE tanks that I can have so does this mean I have to dump both of these SE planes toward the end of gc42/43 west to get a new SE tank when I start gc 44? or are they in addition to the origional GC SE limit?.
Q2) I must admit the fighter (FW190A) is quite nice since it has aquired an A+3 hero but: is it eventually upgradable? - as I dont want to invest in/keep it if it will become obsolete.
[The fighter/bomber I am quite happy to dump for prestige since i brought two with me as part of the 9 choices from gc41 (rudel and spoils of war A+1 i+6) both of which are very handy.]

1) Yes, you need to disband SE planes if you wish to obtain an all SE tank core. As long the number of SE units in your army pool is higher than 4, you will not receive a new SE unit.hugh2711 wrote:Two questions

2) There is one more upgrade available within the same family of Fw, the Fw 190D-9 which becomes available in June '44.

There seems to be no end to updates of the equipment file.
Here is version 28 which has the following changes/additions:
Increased movement from 1 to 2 for (SS) 3.7 cm Pak 36 and (SS) 7.5 cm FK 16 nA
36 variant added for Italian inf, Bersaglieri, Alpine inf and horse transport
Spanish Nationalist and Republican units added
Some changes in availability dates of Italian units

Thanks Niki for this new update! A load of new Nationalist and Republican Spanish units, also, some early Italian units and some existing others back-dated... Will all that mean an incoming upgrade in the Spanish Civil War scenarios present in the MPC 35-39 campaign, for example?

In GC43E Kurst Armory South:
Zone 29 is set at Armory(9,16) not Training Field(9,15) which has the flag, so 3rd KV85 does not spawn.

(I apologise if this has already been asked and answered) I notice the free SE units appear to be the same as the ss units available in the lates version of your equipment file. Q) Are the free SE/Ss units still not counted towards the softcap?. Thanks for info.

More equipment goodness! Well done. It seems that Christmas isn't quite over yet. I noticed that some of the new Spanish units match the ones in your British Corps. Also - I feel bad doing this just after a new version is announced - but Valentines had the same armour thickness as Matilda 1. I've been fiddling around with a British mod and this makes them moderately useful as a compromise between the rubbish armour of crusaders and slow speed of Matilda 2 (much like in real life). Perhaps you could up-armour the poor old Valentines to what they were supposed to be when creating V30?

I always play with that softcap switched off. In the gamerules file i changed the line UseSoftCap 1 into UseSoftCap 0.

A weird problem with GC45E, the displayed Victory Conditions appear to be wrong for at least the first two scenarios.
Same wrong VC displays for both.
