Alternative Eastern Campaign v0.2 is now available!

Six scenarios are done. Keep a savegame from the mission in Turkey for future updates of this campaign.
AEC contains my extended vanilla e-file v.13, which is not compulsory to be able to play. If you wish not to use it, simply delete it from the Alternative Eastern Campaign/Data folder.
Each mission has a generous number of turns (between 20-35 turns), and the prestige dump between scenarios (on Colonel difficulty) is 2000 prestige for a DV, 1500 prestige for a MV.

Scenario list:

1) Croatia: Germany/Italy/Croatia vs Yugoslavia
2) Poland I: Germany/Slovakia vs Poland
3) Poland II: Germany vs Poland/USSR
4) Hungary: Germany/Italy/Hungary vs USSR
5) Balkans: Germany/Italy/Bulgaria vs Yugoslavia/Greece/UK/USSR
6) Turkey: Germany/Italy/Bulgaria/Turkish nationalists vs Turkey/USSR/UK

How to install the AEC v0.2?

I think unzipped to Mygames\Panzer Corps\MODS?

Exactly... Then start new game from folder on menu. Look for AEC...

Changes in Hungarian army composition, Hun Bf 109G added.

The new Volkssturm units have replaced the "blue team" Wehr reserve units.
Some minor Soviet units changes.

Update Alternative Eastern Campaign v0.21
(this is a new campaign, not related to any of the official content)

This minor update contains only tweaks for the scenario in Turkey.

- Turkish objectives no longer cluttered with Turkish units.
- Several Turkish units were removed.
- Added an airfield and HQ for the Italians.
- Raised strength for Bulgarian auxiliaries from 10 to 12.
- Changed a flag of an objective from Turkish to British.
- Added another German bridge engineer.
- More deployment fields have been added.

This mod included v.13 of my vanilla equipment file but which is not compulsory to be able to play. v.13 includes some entries for the Turks.
Unpack the zip in \documents\my games\panzer corps\mods.

I noticed that this mod has been downloaded about 60 times during my vacation in the States. Some feedback would be appreciated.

You could also change the Romanian tank from Somua to Renault R-35, since Romanian army never had Somua tanks (but anyway the scenario is totally ahistorical since Romanian army did not participate in the invasion of Yugoslavia, so you could very well remove or replace all Romanian combat units except the officers that need to be moved in Belgrad hexes)

The Romanian auxiliaries, with the exception of both cavalry, are already replaced by German units in the current download. For the very reasons you mentioned, i decided to replace them at that time.

It played on my nerves that a single Soviet recon didn't start turn 1 with zero ammo, so i changed that s 8)
