Even if it is broken there are people who would like to try this scenario in multiplayer instead of just fighting the AI.
Hi AfrikaKorpsSoldat,
I could try to enable the option but since the multiplayer activity is not that high I thought that it wouldnt worth it. I will think about it.
Thanks for your suggestion :D

Best regards,
Akkula.
There is actually a lot of multiplayer going on and more people would play this scenario more often if they had the option to fight another player instead of the AI.

AI is kinda boring for me in Panzer Corps. Personally I only play MP games. I saw this scenario but it was kinda strange to not see the multiplayer button there at all. Looks fun though.

Some more graphics improvements and new unit.
On the top we have the MiG-1, alongside its successor the MiG-3.
Also, with Guille, we improved the Maxim MG Infantry.

And a much better icon for the Junkers Ju-90:

And more units and improvements:
Image
On the top: the armed recon vehicle BA-11.
Right: the iconic T-20 tractor.
Left: new icon for the "T-34 with ZiS-4" (T-34-57). I noticed we all were using the hexagonal turret version which is non-historical (just one prototype was made), the produced variant was based on the T-34 Model 1941.
Bottom: an improved icon for the mighty Maxim Gorky batteries.

More new stuff for the Wehrmacht:
Image
Some captured tanks from the French, the FT-17. Two variants: PzKpfw 17R 730(f) and PzKpfw 18R 730(f)
Also a big gun, the 24cm K3.

I expect to release 1.95 soon. It will not include new scenarios, but the "The Great Patriotic War" one receive some updates.... and of course all these new units I was showing last weeks.

Regards,
Akkula.

Mhhh, maybe in 2.0. Otherwise I will have to delay this release date even more.

Finally, The Road of Life made into the big scenario. On summer time you will have the normal lake:
Image

But in winter, if need, you can send reinforcements to the city through the lake :)

Also I re positioned the reinforcements entry points for this area. This is to give more space and freedom to the player to wage battle around the city.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Отличная идея с Дорогой жизни ! Надеюсь Севастополь тоже подвергнется глобальному изменению ( ибо как обычно немцы там просто прут огромным стадом !)
Penetrator NI ("To fear") on the battlefield near Odessa

Great idea with Dear life ! I hope Sevastopol will also undergo a global change ( because as usual the Germans were there just a rod with a huge herd !)

Hello Akula,
For the first time, I just got a win on your scenario in 99 turns (v.1.9)
It was hard but very captivating.
A regret, only a victory and not a triumph because I did not take Rome!
Why take Rome into account for a Soviet triumph?
And if one considers the conditions of victory of the Allied side and not only Soviet side, it would have been necessary to position American units in Italy.

The previous times I had not managed to take Berlin (lack of time) and I had a draw while the German forces were almost annihilated.
I think that a victory was more plausible in this case and that the capture of Berlin deserved a triumph.

Regards
Yves

Congratulations for your victory :)
Regarding your Victory, I decided to add some fictional events in order to spice up the scenario. Allied victory doesnt count here, only Soviet one. But I see your point, the victory description assumes that you sent your diplomats to convince the Allies not to land on Italy (which allow you to invade the Italian homeland).
I think I can "fix" that by changing the "name" of the victory, I agree with you, the capture of Berlin (which is not easy) is already a Glorious victory. Thanks for the feedback Glaude.

I suggest you to try 1.95 (soon) if you are still eager of Eastern Front. It will include some changes and improvements to make this experience more enjoyable.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Hi friends,
I have to delay for the next week the release of the new update, I am still testing the big scenario changes.
Meanwhile, I keep working in order to improve the remaining "non-vanilla" style icons. This turn is for the Soviet railway gun TM-3-12:
Image
It is not accurate as the previous version but it is more suitable to the game style. And can be differentiated from the German K5 icon which I used as base.
What do you think?.

Best regards,
Akkula.

 Railway guns in world war II
Rail guns are just a small part of the entire artillery involved in the Second world war.

For comparison, the estimated number of mortars used in the war is around 1 million, whereas rail guns only ~ 580 units.

What countries produced and used them?

P.s.

The beginning of the great Patriotic war in the Navy of the USSR, there were 11 batteries of artillery train of the 37 artillery-conveyors (six 356 mm, nine 305 mm, two 203-mm and twenty 180-mm). From the USSR took part armored, armed with guns of a caliber of 107 mm. In the defense of Leningrad was used more than 20 rail panels, including those on transporters, 100 mm,120 mm ,130 mm and 152-mm naval guns and some captured 88-mm antiaircraft guns. The largest of the serial was the gun mount with 356-mm guns with uncompleted battle cruisers of type "Izmail" (2 guns participated in the defense of Leningrad).
