As posted on the top of the page, by grombit, the map is in error. All sea hexes are set as lakes.
You will have to change ALL of them by hand, with the editor.

ok, found it. loaded it as a mod. how does it tie into 1941?

I am in the process of redoing the lake to sea hexsides for the 1941 mods. I have finished one and it works out fine. If anyone wants the file after I am done, send me an email at donblassvivar@yahoo.com.... I am also thinking about expanding the number of turns beyond 99... not sure how far I want to go, but we could possibly get into 1946.... lol... will probably have to change the presitage and victory conditions as well [that is for a later time however] right now just doing the hexes.

ok. finished with the fix. here is what I did... gave each side some additional units at start to help move the offense and defense along,. added some forts in Russia. gave each side some additional ships.. changes at start prestige to give axis an initial boost and thereafter each side gets same, axis slightly more. here is big change -- each side gets more units to select from ... axis get more minor allies troops and equipment; allies get partisans to build and more allies like Yugo and free polish.

also,,, this is my own change -- I always thought the airborne invasion strategy was a bit far-fetched as well as the early invasion of france plan.. sooooo.. if axis put 5 or more units into England after turn 25, allies get extra prestige... if allies put 15 or more units into german held Europe [I figured 15 represents a huge commitment[, axis get extra prestige.. so if someone drops 15 airborne on german held Europe in 1942, axis will mobilize to fend off attack and will get extra money and troops. I think this should stop these first kill plans... axis will still have to watch their backs because of all the extra freedom fighters that can now pop up in their rear. questions? let me know... I will send updated file to whoever wants it.

well, my fix still has some bugs. could use some help figuring it out. problem: I can see all my stuff, but other player cannot see minors and some special units. any idea why?

Does the other player have the same png files as you?

I also had an invisible unit appear. Yugo partisans spawned a FlaK 38, which I couldn't see. That unit was not in the equpment file and I don't see it in the editor as pre-positioned. It crashed the game several times before I was able to destroy it. How did it get there???

One other thing. I'm in june 42 and I have t34/43's smashing into my formations. That certainly was a surprise, and a solid wall of BT's, north of Moscow, several rows deep is also a bit much, thank you..

Hello everyone, a bit of help please.

I just discovered this map by accepting a challenge from someone online. I'm really looking forward to getting deep into the scenario as the Allies. Unfortunately, I noticed that I can't move my naval units at all with the exception of my soviet river boats. My opponent said after his turn that this is an issue for him as well. I briefly scanned through this thread and it looks like a few people have had the same issue and the creator has updated this? Do we just need to download an updated map for the naval to work?

UPDATE: I got the new version with naval units moving fine via email.

I have fixed the bugs, expanded the map, added new units, and put in some new trigger conditions. it is still a work in progress but it remains balanced. if anything, it gives the axis a fighting chance to reach Moscow against a good player and prevents those silly parachute invasions that occur early in the game. cheers.

Hey everyone,

My computer died and I lost a lot of information, including the files for this game so hoping I can retrieve them at some stage (always have another back-up!!!)

This has also meant I have lost my keycode to download panzer corps again.

If someone can edit the lake hexes (in the editor you can set all of the same hexes instantly that are adjacent) in effect one click the lake squares and change to sea squares (which is how this disaster happened in the first place) and upload to this page that would be great or even start another thread I don't mind.

Once again feel free to edit and pass along to play but most importantly have fun!

Not sure when I will get a chance to get back on....

That's definitely a Bad Thing.

First, email the Slitherine people. They helped me out a few years back when I had to reinstall everything.

Second. You can store your activation codes with your profile.

Third. No, I haven't got round to storing my codes on my profile (and please don't remind me of this some time in the future when I'm bemoaning the loss of my codes!)
