Puma's New Units and other Graphical mods

Post by VPaulus »

Puma at the DMP forum asked me to publish his work in our forum.

This is a different set of strength plates without the gold border and with different colour for the auxiliary units.

How does that minefield work and can you purchase it with prestige?

So the question still stands: what do the mines do and can you purchase them?

The image doesn't set any stats for the unit - that's what has to be determined within the equipment.pzeqp file. Their attack values would have to be like AD on some tanks - only come into effect when attacked (otherwise they can be used to attack adjacent hexes) - something like [8]. All these stats would need to be tested, as would their cost. What class would they be? Fortification seems best to me. They could be purchasable but can a minefield be laid in a day (or whatever the time frame is)? They could only be laid around city hexes. I think they would be best left non-purchasable and available to the designer. That's just me - another efile might have it different.

I've only posted the image. The file has the stats to be used in the equipment file.

Nice units there. The last two tanks could IMO use a better texture/paint.

Question for any resident military experts: those Italian inf units - did they all had those feathers on their helmets? I always thought only Bersaglieri had them, but I'm not so familiar with this.

Precisely my thoughts.

Puma asked me to post his work in this thread. I still don't know why he don't register here in the forum. Maybe it's a question of language. But I cannot answer for him.
