Real Sound Mod

I think there is a bug in the efx.pzdat file:
British_Bridge_Eng.png (,-) (-,-) (,) (,) Bridge1 Leg_ Bridge_2
Bruckenpioniere.png (0,0) (0,0) (,) (,) Bridge1 Leg_ Bridge_1
My games often crashed when I was trying to my move my german bridge engineers (Bruckenpioniere).
Then I changed these two things in Leg_Bridge_2 and Leg_Bridge_1
=> there seems to be one space too much

Indeed you're right Jemus.
Sorry to hear for the crashings. Usually it only doesn't play any sound.
The issue had already been spotted in the Matrix forums.
The sound for Bridge engineers was a last hour addition, and wasn't properly tested.
Anyway I plan to update the mod today by turning it compatibly with Nikkivdd's Italian Campaign.
With that update the errors will be also corrected.
Thanks for reporting, Jemus.
I really appreciate.

does this only work on the MP maps? I tried loading a scenario against the computer and didnt notice anything different. I do not have generic mod enabler, but rather saved all the sounds and efx data in the corresponding folders on my windows 7 64-bit system. Did the Wav file 5.0 and 5.1 install.
What exactly is supposed to be recognizably different?
Thanks

This works in both Multiplayer and Single Player.
The mod adds more sounds to the game. For example with the vanilla version you have three generic sounds for heavy tracked, three for medium tracked and three light tracked vehicles. With this sound mod, when you're moving for example a Panzer III, you'll hear not a generic sound, but a sound of a real Panzer III moving.
If you copied the files to the right folders, you won't need the Generic Mod Enabler.
Try for example a scenario with paratroopers, like Norway. And listen to the movement they do when moving. Is it the same sound as any other infantry marching?
VPaulus, I was getting terribly confused about installing the RSM, PGCM and HI until I read the revised instructions. The step-by-step with images is much appreciated. I've also just downloaded the RSM Update Ver 0.51. I've just finished my campaign and have installed PGCM. Just to clarify, the proper procedure now is:
1) Enable Panzer General Classic Mod
2) Enable Historical Insignia mod
3) Enable Real Sound mod
and to deactivate these mods (for example if a third patch is released), the correct procedure is:
1) Disable Real Sound mod
2) Disable Historical Insignia mod
3) Disable Panzer General Classic mod
Have I got it right?
If I want to install the Italian Campaign, it would be after the Panzer General Classic mod? Can I have both the PGCM and Italian campaigns enabled at the same time? Thanks in advance and many, many thanks to all those involved in creating all these mods!

Hi, Razz, thanks! I kind of like the AT&AA mod. Italian Campaign needs to be compatible version 0.52, check. I'm planning on installing and playing the Panzer General Classic Mod first, so it might take a while before I get to the Italian Campaign. Looking forward to the DLCs at the end of this month.
Hi, VPaulus. I tried running the Panzer Campaign Classic Mod via JSGME but was unable to activate the campaign. Please see link below:

I'm not exactly sure how JSGME works and just need some clarifications. When a campaign and mods are "enabled" in the mod enabler, they appear in a right hand column display. Should the text be "grayed" out? Or is this normal? I've noticed when I enable just the 3 mods: HI, AT&AA, RSM, the first two will be grayed out. Does a successful enabling of 3 mods at one go mean that all the right-hand column text need to be in black text as opposed to "grayed out"? I had patched Panzer Corps to 1.02 prior to using the Generic Mod Enabler. RSM was 0.50 and then updated to 0.51. AT&AA mod is for Vers 1.01/1.02 patch. Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't use Razz's mod.
If you this sequence to activate the mods, it has to work.
1) Activate PGCM
2) Activate HI
3) Activate RSM
PGCM will stay in grey, the others in black.
I've just tested again, and it works.
The problem must be with Razz's mod and PGCM. Test without it and start PGCM again and see if it's working.
If it's not working it's because some of the mods may not be correctly installed, or there are some mixed files with you Panzer Corps installation.
In that case probably you should uninstall and install everything again.
I'm having problems with my internet connection, so I'm not able to do a better support on this issue. Sorry.
But I'll login into the forum, again tonight (GMT).

You mean before and not after reinstalling, right?
None. well. I've always a backup of my campaign saves (Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Save).
The rest, I freshly install when I've to.
If you follow the instruction with the activating order and the reversible deactivating, I don't see why you should have any problem. Maybe Razz's mod is the culprit of your situation. Maybe he could help when he will be online.

Hi, VPaulus
Razz is saying that PGCM is not updated for 1.01. Could I just confirm with you whether your own current Panzer Corp game is patched to 1.02 and you are able to enable PGCM, HI & RSM in the Generic Mod Enabler? If you are patched to 1.02, are you able to start PGCM and play? Thanks in advance.
