I would love, love, love to play battlefield Europe, but I do not know how to do mods, I may pursue it more fervently once/if I get on youtibe.PeteMitchell_2 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 1:05 pmGoose, just as an idea, maybe you should give Battlefield Europe a try as well (or have you already)? Most probably, given your experience, this would be very cool!PeteMitchell_2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 3:53 pmThanks Goose, yes I can show the air perspective as well. Will do it later today probably.

This sounds great, Goose! I look forward to it. Actually it's only 4-5 simple steps after downloading McGuba's zip file (viewtopic.php?f=147&t=47985) and then you are ready to go. I am also happy to walk you through them to get it up and running!goose_2 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 5:30 pmI would love, love, love to play battlefield Europe, but I do not know how to do mods, I may pursue it more fervently once/if I get on youtibe.PeteMitchell_2 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 1:05 pmGoose, just as an idea, maybe you should give Battlefield Europe a try as well (or have you already)? Dear Uhu, coming back to you on your question, I spoke to McGuba, he believes that one possible reason could be if you are able to hold Minsk for quite some time, many (or just more) enemy units might move west/north-west instead of south/south-west, i.e. as Minsk remains the closest victory objective for them and not the ones in the Ukraine or in Bessarabia/Romania. So this might explain it, I hope this helps…

Re: Battlefield Europe v1.9 – The Race to Berlin!
Thanks for the answer, yes, it can be a possible explanation! In my playthroughs, I could hold the Soviet tanks - with some extra power, mainly Panther - to cross the Dniester river, until winter. (If the river is crossed with more than one Soviet tank, than Romania changes side.) But with the winter, the rivers will be frozen, so the armored masses can drive through. After that, I had to destroy the Romanian rebellion - with carefully collected power, it was hard, but manageable - and retreat fast with my units in the Carpathians and hold Galati. In my late-save AAR, there was a picture with the great masses of Soviet armor behind it at the end.
