I'll take that to mean sometime in June. I'm fine with that.

Iain, can you please find out and report if the map editor will be available by then?

I don't know of any real bugs or game breakers although there are some things that been asked for that would really improve the game. But the lack of a map editor is serious.

Very good. Even being able to change deploy zones will add more life to the stock maps. Being able to add more than one deploy zone per side would be good if possible.

Only one deployment zone per side is possible. But there is no limit to the size or or basic shape (has to have 4 sides though)

“Few: An exclusive or limited number”
No one ever said “June”

I said June and that was giving them the benefit of the doubt with some extra time.

Xerkis, you seem like a nice person but constantly giving excuses for incompetence gets on my nerves after a while.

You seem nice and all as well.

But mixing personal interpretation with facts get’s on my nerves well.
So I guess we are even.

Really?

The patch was promised in a few weeks and that was more than a few weeks ago.

And we've had no communication from the company about it.

That's incompetence.

We have no idea what's going on. There's been no word about testing the patch. For all we know there is no patch. They're all too busy working on other games. Actually, that's what they said. They're too busy. So this game is dying before it even gets going. And we have someone who gives excuses for whatever they do. Well, I'm moving on. And I'll never buy another game from them. Once burned, that's enough.

Hold on there.

First off – I don’t intend to get you (or anyone) “upset” in any way – ever.

Second of all – I agree totally with almost ALL of what you just now said.

The no word from them is (I prefer not to use the word “incompetence”) but it is very disconcerting to say the least. Word from them should be on a regular basis – no argument there what so ever. At least once ever week or two at the least.
If there is testing involved – that would depend on how intense the “patch” is. But word should be out on that as well. Totally agree.

The only issue I have with what you are claiming is the time frame. They said “few” that can be number of weeks. We have nothing to go one to say that “few” equals “June”.

Edit: I blame myself. . . . I should have prodded them about two or more weeks ago for an update. Sorry for not doing so.

It's not your fault at all. You're not responsible for prodding them. They should be on the forum with updates at least once a week without any prodding. Their silence, really, is inexcusable. No matter how busy they are, it only takes a few minutes to get on the forum with a progress report.

Somewhat agree. Maybe “prodding” isn’t the best of word to use. “Motivating” might fit better.

And perhaps it isn’t my responsibility per say – but I still see no harm in it and only good that can come out of it. At least it is a much better approach then most other forms that are usually taken.

But you are correct – there shouldn’t be a need for any prodding to get info on a normal basis. Especially when there is something that is in the waiting. Regular informational updates is a must – even if it’s a “sorry guys, we ran in to a big road block and it will be much longer than we thought.” Something – anything. Silence is a killer. I am more than willing to give them all the time they need to get the job done (I know you and others are not) but the point being. . . . I think we can all agree on no matter how long it takes, communicate to the people on what is going (or not going) on.

So how about Iain --- what’s the news? An update if you would please sir.

Fantastic news! Getting there.

Will you post an official list of what is included in the patch? I understand if that isn’t until it is released – but just wondering if it will be listed with it.

Thanks.
