How does selling of Units work?

I play with my IPad and can't find a way to sell units i don't need anymore. When i hit the info button i can delete the Unit but not sell them.

Normally when you delete a unit you get prestige back, on the pc, you pick a unit and then press the d key to bring up the delete option, sorry but I can't remember if its different on the I pad. I will try and check it out.

Of course year i tried to delete the Unit but i did not receive any credit so far- maybe a bug?

If you disband a unit between scenarios (in the deployment phase) you get prestige for them.
If you disband them during play, you don't get prestige.

Would this explain it?
