Stock Multiplayer Maps
Moderators: Slitherine Core, The Lordz, Panzer Corps Design, Panzer Corps Moderators
We've move up to 9 stock MP maps released in .999, so try them out, and be sure to leave feedback. We're especially concerned about whether the scenarios are well balanced, because that is pretty much the main point of their design.
Also, for anyone curious about testing their maps with me, I should be able to try a few out if you're interested in me taking a look now, let me know. I'll trade you a play of one Stock map for your Custom.

Sounds like it could be good, if well put together.
The first Battle of the Bzura has come to a close, grats to Dam for winning. The Polish may need a little bit of help on this map, but regardless it was a very close game. I only needed to capture 1 more VH (to have three and bring him down to 4), and if my units weren't ZOC blocked, there was a clear VH to take!

Well there's good news and there's bad news associated with this upcoming picture.
The good news? My Tiger II gained 2 stars over the course of a single MP scenario and actually got awarded the Iron Cross 2nd class.
The bad news? 100% of my remaining forces are visible in the screenshot.
Well played game of The Frozen North against Crestone, GG.

Urban Warfare preview.
Largest map (40x40 and ~42 core slots) to be included for release multiplayer, this map isn't for the faint of heart, but it should appease fans of very large scale battles. Each 'city block' is represented by a single flag.
Also includes Armored trains!
Soviet Decisive Victory:
Capture and control all 11 objectives for instant victory.
Soviet Victory:
Control the majority of Lintali (25 or more city blocks) at the end of the game.
Allied Decisive Victory:
Capture and control all 11 objectives for instant victory.
Allied Victory:
Control the majority of Lintali (25 or more city blocks) at the end of the game.

Getting a lot of good feedback from people playing the maps, that's great. A big change log is coming up with the next patch, so expect more fine tuning to be applied to all multiplayer maps.
Here's a preview of the change log.

This was done by SS-Fallschirmjäger under the Command of Otto Skorzeny ... great idea!apanzerfan wrote:I've got another Mp map idea.
Extricating Mussolini.
A daring German airborne mission to set free the ruler of one of their last ally: Italy.
The concept would be like on that panther mission: escort Mussolini to the edge of the map, or to an airport in the vicinity.
I thought of everything: Mussolini's icon would be this:
I would like to see this historic scenarios:
- Market Garden - Allied Paratroopers (82 and 101. US paratrooper Divison, 1. British Paratrooper Divison and the polish Brigade meets the Waffen-SS: II SS-Panzerkoprs : August 1944: Teile 21. Panzer-Division, 9. SS-Panzer-Division „Hohenstaufen“, 3. Fallschirmjäger-Division, 10. SS-Panzer-Division „Frundsberg“
- Charkow1943 - with named Waffen SS Units, in this case the SS-Panzerkorps with the Divisons "Leibstandarte" and "Das Reich"
- And maybe the Spanish Civil War, as Aux Germans "Legion Condor" and and on the other hand "The international Brigades / Soviets"
- A "Admiral Graf Spee" Szenario

Partisan Uprising.
Italian garrison forces mobilize to contain a well armed French rebellion.
Another departure from the typical Panzer General scheme. The winner of this unusual scenario is the player who controls the most victory hexes at the end of the turn count. Each side starts with two, and there is only one neutral one, so there should never be a tie game here. Capturing all victory hexes results in an instant victory.
Italian Decisive Victory:
Capture all objectives.
Italian Victory:
Control at least 3 objectives at the end of the game.
French Decisive Victory:
Capture all objectives.
French Victory:
Control at least 3 objectives at the end of the game.

I have a question about this.Kerensky wrote:The funny thing about the French and the Italians is they both have absolutely horrible equipment, which makes them well balanced adversaries!
In general, the equipment file gets updated (has been updated), but I gather no effort has been made to re-balance maps because of that, no?
Most immediate example: at least the way I remember, the Italians never had any serious anti-tank capability. But somewhere along the line, they were given a unit similar (if not identical) to the dreaded 88 AA gun. In At mode, this provides the Italians with something they never had otherwise.
That's the general issue. More specifically to Partizan Uprising, isn't it advantage Italy, because:
1) the key to dominating the southern coastline is using your navy as waterborne artillery
2) the key to 1) is winning the naval battle
3) the key to 2) is using your airforce bombers (preferably a strategic one), at least if you want to win without crippling your own navy
4) the key to 3) is air supremacy
... and here the Italians have an advantage, since their Veltro is better than the best French fighter.
Again, I can't be sure, but isn't this (the Veltro) a "new" addition. I could be wrong, but if the scenario shipped six years ago with "only" Folgores I would not have an issue here...
