Who designed this Vitebsk scenario!!
I've already lost three veteran units and now my Kradschützen, who have been with me since 1935, are about to die..
My 1st unit, my most decorated unit.
I am going to cry now..
Nooo! My Kradschützen!!

Yeah, I feel your pain...Latro wrote:and now my Kradschützen
I remember in GC West I finally just got used to this unfortunate event.

Re: Nooo! My Kradschützen!!
I have 2 Kradschutzen in my Manstein playthrough.
I am using one at the start of Kiev 43 as I still have 3 Core slots left to deploy but will wait to deploy as trying to maximize prestige. (96 softcap with 3 open slots)
I highly recommend converting any +1 Spotting heroes that you are awarded to Kradschutzen as I did that early on and have been exceedingly pleased with the results, as they can spot 4 away and 2 away in inclement weather. (This is quite helpful)
Both have 4 stars experience and I keep them at 12 Strength to help bolster their attack.
They are used solely as mop up units and in a recon role, which they exceed at with that +1 Spotting hero.

I mod with reconmove and dismount, more useful that way.

There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Excuse me if I hijack this thread for a question...goose_2 wrote:I have 2 Kradschutzen in my Manstein playthrough.

I keep hearing about converting heroes, I'm obviously missing a game's feature here. What is this all about, and how does it work? Thanks!
Re: Nooo! My Kradschützen!!
Typically that means simply changing or upgrading to a different unit. Such as Pioneers to Kradschutzen.auda wrote:Excuse me if I hijack this thread for a question...goose_2 wrote:I have 2 Kradschutzen in my Manstein playthrough.

Re: Nooo! My Kradschützen!!
It's my own combination of as many scenario's I could find. It's about 80 scenario's, slightly edited here and there, with my own equpment file and awards.Panzerpimp wrote:Latro wrote: who have been with me since 1935

Currently attacking Stalingrad with about 50 units..
Re: Nooo! My Kradschützen!!
Could you, perhaps, upload that and enable other people to play? Of course, with due credit to the makers of original scenarios... If they wouldn't be angry. But this sounds like a great compilation.Latro wrote:It's my own combination of as many scenario's I could find.
