Lifever, dont worry. Rishat didn't train me. Hi disappeared. (
If you won "Rush to Moscow" on 12 turns, then you are great master and you win me on 10-12 turns.

Dear Goose, need your help. We (Lifever and I) began the game and did 1 turn. But game have option "Show opponent's move" = "No". Lefever created the game, but i didnt see the "inexactness
" promptly.
This option is against the rules of the tournament. And I ask your permission for "recreate the game Lifever - Ins07".

So, halfway through the time frame....and only been able to get 8 turns through.

Struggling with slow response times. Is there something to be done?

Congrats to Riker! He defeated me by a 14 to 16. I'm out, thanks goose_2 for the great tournament. Just wish i could have gone farther (I'll blame the dice and not my strategy). :D

Pelocho08 Vs Indywise

Indywise wins as Axis, Turn 15
Pelocho08 Surrenders as Axis, turn 17 - with Russian troops retaking Kiev. Indywise wins.

I feel like a lot of stuff went my way and the game was perhaps closer than the result looks.
Thanks to Pelocho08 for a great game.

Ratprince vs Pak?PaulE

Ratprince won. It was one of the most closely razor thin games the tournament. Came down to me on turn 21, Pak on turn 22.

There was an epic paratrooper drop on turn 20 by Paule that almost won the day. Most exciting round so far.

Thanks for the game

sn0wball vs yoky

The game is decided, the winner is yoky!

He won with the Axis on turn 21 and with the Allies on turn 23 (with my Germans on the defense, hanging out in Kiew).

It was one of the most exciting games I fought in this tournament. As the Axis I started agressively and very confident, thinking to be winning up to turn 6 or 7, when I realised that what I thought was barvery and daring on my side was actually foolhardiness.

Congratulations to the winner and good luck for the remaining tournament !

DCK vs Hansstory

Hans won as Germans on turn 14 or so. Hans as Soviets is holding out as of turn 17 or 18. Thanks to DCK for a good game! They are all nail-biters at this point.

Gwaylare vs Alfredoallu

Gwaylare won as Axis on turn 16.
Alfredoallu surrendered as Axis on turn 23.

The game was much closer in the beginning then the result may indicate. Alfredoallu took signifacant losses on german side with his first attack over Dnieper River near Cherkassy. Realizing that he was in a bad position after that he tried an all in attack getting much closer to the objectives than I did at the same time. But attrition was to high even for the german army, so the attack deadlocked adjacent to Lubny and Priluki and germans had to draw back. In turn 14 the southern german front was almost out of ammo and took heavy losses. With several waves of attacks germans managed to take all objectives but Lubny.

Great game, thanks to Alfredoallu.
Coombes545 see you in Stalingrad, jimthechip take care, Alfredoallu will be a though opponent and he did learn some new tricks ;-)

Best regards

I love seeing this...

It looks and sounds like everyone still in this tournament enjoyed their matches and felt like they were real nail biters despite the results...

I am awaiting the results of 1 more match, and as soon as I hear back from
SSIGeneral ** vs woken **

I will set up Round 9 Stalingrad!!!

The final 16 competitors will compete in the battle of all battles...for me this battle was the real turning point of the war, and I am looking forward to seeing how these skilled players handle this extremely dynamic and complex map.

Let me know boys because I would love to set up ASAP>

This means I will be setting up Round 9 Stalingrad, and hope to post by tomorrow morning.

The last 16 competitors are left to battle it out in one of the toughest maps on the Vanilla Campaign, well at least I have not been able to master it, I love this aspect of this game, you can learn to play the game in an hour, but can continue to learn new ways of playing even after 3 + years of investment.

Let me know if any of this is incorrect.
Lost some serious competitors in the last match up, and we are one more mission closer to the end.

Stay Tuned!
