Re: FAQ / Common Questions
When my 4* Italian strategic bomber attacks engineers, HW or other ground unit with [X] air attack, it appears that the ground unit does not get to attack the bomber. Is this correct?
It would make sense as I would think that strategic bombers would be too high for defence with lighter non-specialised anti-air weapons.
Thanks

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Would you consider the 'undo' option to be a cheat?
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
In regards to 'undo', it depends on how you use it.
I use it to correct silly mistakes. For example I click on artillery piece to see what I can hit. Then I want to select another unit but by accident I move the artillery unit. And plenty of things like that.
If you use it to scout with a unit and if it discovers no enemy units and then you 'undo' that move and repeat till you find an enemy, yeah that would be cheating.

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
What does "glow" mean as terrain trait? (Hills, Airfield, Mountains, etc.)
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
I think it is the trait that projects a semi-transparent texture file 'unitglow.png' from Panzer Corps\Graphics\Overlays over the hex when it is occupied by a unit. This .png is some sort of brownish cloud and seems to help reduce the contrast with the (sometimes 'busy') tile graphics and make the unit more visible.
I made a picture to show what the effect looks like without a unit in the hex.

Thanks, I've never noticed that glow before, guess it does a good job then.
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Maybe my question may seem strange, but please answer it.
Is it possible in Grand Campaign Mega Pack '39-'45 (as in the DLC separately) to play some scripts, and not only in the campaign?

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
If by scripts, you mean individual scenarios, yes this is still possible through this method:Reinhard wrote:Maybe my question may seem strange, but please answer it.

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Is this a bug or what. Deployment phase unit list shows my fighter have 2 x +2 attack heroes but when i open the unit tab they only have +1 attack bonuses.
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Seems to be working as intended.Naxor wrote:Is this a bug or what. Deployment phase unit list shows my fighter have 2 x +2 attack heroes but when i open the unit tab they only have +1 attack bonuses.
Each of the two heroes is a +1 attack hero. Mousing over any of the soldier hero icons displays the sum of all their values. Two heros of +1 attack totals +2 attack. Try mousing over units with 3 heroes, what you should see is wherever you point the mouse, the text is the same and it reflects the sum total of all of their bonuses.

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Is there a way to find out what difficulty level I chose when I started a particular game?

Re: FAQ / Common Questions
AFAIK, no !
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
The game is mine fields and other objects (eg, warehouses).
Tell me, please, can anyone put the units of these objects (such as minefields), or it is possible only in the settings of the script?

The question is relevant.
Re: FAQ / Common Questions
Hello Reinhard, sorry for late reply, I guess most people are occupied with testing the new beta version of the game. I have difficulty understanding your question. Are you asking if it is possible to change the values for defense or others, so that their performance is different? Or would you like to know if it is possible to purchase these units?Reinhard wrote:The game is mine fields and other objects (eg, warehouses).

Normally these units can only be placed on the map with the scenario editor, they cannot be purchased by the player. But it is possible to program a trigger and condition in the mission that makes them appear if something specific occurs while playing. This is used some scenarios, where the player is rewarded with minefields if he reaches certain goals (objectives) during the mission.
A small explanation about minefields and similar units: they are called 'structures' ('Сооружение') in the game, in the equipment file they have 'unit class 6' 'Класс подразделения 6'. They use the same statistics as other units, and these can be changed. This unit class is not able to be purchased, just like ships.

Thank you! A few more questions, if not much straining. What are the following facilities:ThvN wrote:
