Online ordering & support

Post by IainMcNeil »

First off, if you are having any problems let us apologise. We will try to make your purchase as quick and painless as possible but sometimes there are things out of our control that can cause problems. If you do have problems let us know here and we'll get them sorted out ASAP. Alternatively you can e-mail support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and the problem and we'll get you up and running as soon as we can.

We have just launched our new online store!
The new shop is supported on the back end by specialist digital delivery provider Plimus and it gives us and you a wide range of benefits.

Security
The store has always been secure but we have maintained our strict security measures on the new store.

Support
We have a much improved and more responsive customer support team ready to help. We are also able to get deeper in to the system ourselves to resolve any issues.

Unlimited re-downloads
Previously you had to purchase an extended download service to allow you to download your game for 2 years. Now you get to download for free indefinitely. This saves you money to buy more games!

Shipping costs
We’re improved the shipping methods and shipping costs will be reduced saving you money!

Flexibility
The system is far more flexible allowing us to add a host of cool features in the future once it has bedded in.

What does all this mean for me
If you placed a digital download order before the 18th November 2010 it will have been with our previous partner Digital River. If you have any issues you can look up your order at http://www.findmyorder.com and re-download it if you have the extended download service or if you bought in the last 30 days. If you have any problems with the support system at DR contact us directly at support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and we’ll get you sorted out as soon as we can.

If you placed your order on or after the 18th November 2010 it will have been with our new partner Plimus. If you have any problems with your order and Plimus customer support are not able to help you then please contact us at info@slitherine.co.uk and we’ll get it sorted out ASAP.

On the top left of this screen, click on Slitherine. That will take you to the home page. If you are logged in, it will show your information in the middle of the screen. Click My Games.
You can call me junk - and type that with one hand.

I recently had a hard drive failure on my laptop, which caused me to lose Field of Glory, which I downloaded over a year ago, but also Panzer Corps Wehrmacht and the 39, 40, 41 and 42 campaigns (including the exe files), which I downloaded just two months ago. I have the activation keys for the last five, but I also lost my e-mails, so do not have the order or receipt mails. Is there any way I can recover what I have lost? I tried the "click to download" link (cut and pasted into a doc file with my activation keys), but I am told I can no longer use them to download. The plimus site redirects me to bluesnap. Because I did not order with a credit card but through Paypal, I cannot verify my order with them. I am able to send info from my Paypal account to verify my orders, however.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

@galathane

Just write an email with the most elements as possible (email address, name, address) to support@slitherine.co.uk asking for new download links for your games.

Here is my problem: My hard drive crashed and I lost all of my Field of Glory files. I downloaded the base game and some expansion packs from Digital River over two years ago. I downloaded some more recent expensaions from Plimus. I purchased these games and have the serial numbers to prove it. Is there a way for me to re-download these games without have to buy them again?

Thanks.

@almal59

Basically you only need to re-download the base game. For obtaining a new download link mail your order details (order number, email address with which you placed the order) to support@slitherine.co.uk.

Regarding the expansions, you don't need to re-download or install them if you've the game updated. You just need to unlock the expansions as they are embedded in the update.
To update the game you can visit this mirror page and grab the last update:

http://www.matrixgames.com/products/378/downloads/

Unzip the download file. Run the extracted file to update the game. After that you can proceed with the unlocking of your expansion packs:

1. Double click the Field of Glory game icon (launcher) in the desktop
2. Click the "Register Army Pack Serial…" button
3. Select the expansion pack you wish to unlock.
4. Enter serial number for expansion pack
5. Select "Enter Serial".
6. Repeat the steps for each expansion

I cannot get Panzer corps Grand campaign 45 west to open.

I have repeatedly downloaded it. I have made sure to uninstall the old downloads and cleared everything and then gone through the process again.

i have turned off my firewalls and anti virus protection.

Bascically, it appears that it downloads. It goes through the initialization process. it say it has successfully installed.

But there is no game menu, or any other place where the downloaded game can be started.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Please post your query into the Tech Support forum for Panzer Corps (viewforum.php?f=146). That is where you will get the most expert help on any installation issues :)

User scenarios appear at the bottom of the campaigns list, assuming they have been correctly set up. You can scroll down to them using the up/down arrows around the list, or the left right arrows at the bottom of the screen. Or with the mousewheel when mousing over the list.

Re: CEaW 1.12 upgrade to Commander Europe at War 3.0

Post by spratz »

I am turning to you to help me resolve the issue of obtaining full copy of CEaW v1.12 so I can then upgrade correctly to Commander Europe at War V3.0. I have been placing lots of posts on viewtopic.php?f=33&t=45016 regarding the issue. I have registered my serial number on your site but I can provide it if necessary. When I purchased the game the download link only allowed me to download CEaW_Full_GS_2.0.exe which is not compatible with V3.0. I Tried to upgrade V2 to V3 but was getting code failing issues as per the above forum page.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Spratz

I'm not sure what you mean Spratz? We are only able to support the versions released after this update. Older versions are not compatible and there isn't anything we can do unfortunately.
