Division B
Ironclad (Fatimids) 31/39 vs Jonah75 (Saminids) 36/35
Winning the initiative proved crucial as it enable a choice of a clear terrain central arena suitable for the F's cavalry to take the offensive. A bruising encounter nevertheless; both right wings were successful - the S's powerful infantry on one flank and the F's main cavalry force on the other - but the former had further to go from their rough terrain starting point on the periphery and that plus the latter's mobility and numbers enabled them to achieve a decisive breakthrough into the rear of the enemy army. Thanks for a good game.

Div C Result
Lydianed (Buyids) 28/36 vs epos (Lombards) 46/40
Buyids Dailami scared the weaker Lombard cavalry while the better horse was kept in check by terrain, an elephant and Ghilman. The Lombards advanced into an unfavourable piece of terrain and broke their lines against a solid defense. Thanks for the game.

Hi Cromlechi - just a reminder... 6 days since challenge/pm sent...

That yet for a while rivers may run clean and birds build their nests,
Ere Night comes.’

I have been unexpectedly called away for some days; should be back by the weekend. Apols for delay.

Div A
hidde(Early Crusader,1098-1099) 11/45
ianiow(Bedouin Dynasties - HoA) 55/52
Apart from a couple of lousy results right at start of the fighting the Crusader knights were invincible.
A very enjoyable romp

Re: Challenges and results – Dark Ages, season 10
2 WEEKS TO GO EVERYONE. 12 AUGUST IS THE FINISH DATE.
There will be no extensions as this season has gone 1 month longer than previous LOEG seasons. There are some players who still have 3 or 4 games to play . Please check all score sheets and ensure you have also posted your results on the relevant period thread.
Cheers Turk

I have absolutely no interest in finishing up the game. The outcome won't matter as you and I would both be promoted out of the period. I just sent in a turn, but I would like to propose a draw. I don't have the time, interest or bandwidth to play it out.
