Russian cavalry

Post by nikgaukroger »

Anyone know of a manufacturer who makes C16th/17th Russian cavalry - noble sort, so armoured horse archers although the armour may well be quilted.

Assuming 15mm here. Minifigs used to in their strip range. Essex do but very limited poses IIRC. Some of the Polish companies used to but not seen them in the UK this past 12 months. I suspect Essex or be willing to take something with a lance or pistol.

The range for By Fire and Sword contains Russians. Wayland Games has the range.

Cheers - the Wayland Games range looks interesting, although they seem to call Russians Prussians, or have conflated them :?

Went with Essex - they're OK and easy to get hold of.

Did pick up some of the By Fire and Sword streltsy though from Battlefield Hobbies - range is a bit hit and miss to be honest and I didn't like a lot of the mounted.
