Later Thirty Years War Swedish, Weimarian and French Armee d

Post by nikgaukroger »

As a break from play testing Richard's Pike & Shot PC game I thought I'd just revisit one of the army lists from Wars of Religion and see how I might write it a few years on. So here is what I'd probably do with the Later Thirty Years War Swedish and, Weimarian list were it up for a rewrite. It may interest some, and was something to do over a lunch hour  This public Dropbox link should bring up a Word document.

Ah, the Swedes get their Heavy Artillery back. I remember someone griping about that point when the list first hit the shelves.

Competitively, I'd say the army still takes a back door to the later 30yw Germans and the Early 30yw Swedes. Too bad, since historically Baner, Torstenson, and Wrangel probably had a better battlefield record than anyone else in the period.

Also, hopefully by the time the lists get revised, the points issues re: determined horse get fixed.

Hell will have frozen over, the Four Horsemen will have retired and Renaissance Hannibal will have complimented the boy Porter on a fine series of victories ...

Unless, that is, somebody is willing to pay me a proper rate for my time and expenses in which case I might just do it.
