For the Tareugs mounted... 6s or 4s per BG.
4s obviously give more BGs for your army break point. Where as 6s help with delaying the -1 for the ratio hits to bg size factor. Even though not European mounted, but have lance can't skirmish away so this adds to 6s slant, also more bases when caught 1:1 with DH ..
Thoughts?

Nigel,
Most people go with BG's of 4 to give them more BG's so a slower defeat. Also they can hit you with 2 BG's at a time so reducing your chances to getting enough hits against each BG.

I think I'd go a mixture. 10 bases (a 4 and 6) is a good compromise with going up against 4 packs.nigelemsen wrote:For the Tareugs mounted... 6s or 4s per BG.

4s. Superior. Every time!
Re: Tareugs: 6s or 4s
My opinion, in a Tuareg army you're relying on the Cm to win with, so you'll need a mixture of 6s for durability and 4s for flexibilty.
If they're allies, say in a Sudanese army, you won't have enough Cm to win a game on their own. By deploying them in 4s they might smash through opposition mounted on one flank or they might get ridden down, but either way you keep the opposing mounted away from your vulnerable foot.
