It is now about two and a half months until Attack! so we can beat the 12 we had last year if players finalise their decision of whether to play.

Last year we managed to have 12 players and currently the following 9 have applied to play: -
Bob Lorton
Chris Beesley
Ray Boyles
Don McHugh.
Ben Jones
David Burrows
Lynnette Maxim
Tim Porter
Bob Medcraft

The theme for this year's competition was chosen by the players last year. Help can be given to those who do not have a TYW army but would like to take part The revised amendments to the rules are working well.

We now have 10 booked players: -
Bob Lorton
Chris Beesley
Ray Boyles
Don McHugh.
Ben Jones
David Burrows
Lynnette Maxim
Tim Porter
Dene Green
Bob Medcraft

Tom Elsworth has indicated that he is thinking of coming but we will need one or three more players to ensure we do not have to have a bye.

So where are Paddy Bray and Andy Kitcher this year. Nik Gaukroger has indicated that he is not certain where he can come this year yet.

Bruce has turned to the dark side and is playing ReG.

There are currently 5 entries for ReG according to the list posted today on the DDWG website, so there may yet well be one (or more) returning refugees from that one to even up the FoGR numbers ....

Bob has asked me to umpire and we will be using the amendment from the last Oxford round for Cavalry. Will not affect most armies but may make Polish and Transylvanian a little better.

Currently Cavalry on making a CMT and if in a line, ie one deep, can make a 180 degree turn, move up to 2MU and then make a 180 degree turn to face the original way.

I will also allow them to do the following (As its less movement than the CMT gives them and seems strange they have to do the second turn if not required)

Move up to 2 MU and then make a 180 degree turn. Make a 180 degree turn and move up to 2 MU.

Regards Ben
