Hi Simon
A little error in your list, a later 30 year's war german if from 1632 to 1648, not in 1629.

Re: The Worlds 2016
And here is the draw for round 1.
Re: The Worlds 2016
Lovely range of armies being used, if mainly French with impact foot. Well Simon did you and I get it terrible wrong!!!!
Do not know most of the other players to start guessing the top 3. I expect Jim Gibson to be there in the top 3. I think Edward will have learn a lot from the Challenge so could come in the top 3 especially as he is using your favourite army.

Yup,
like Britcon, I'm feeling like I brought a banana to a musket fight.
At least they have good beer out there.

Yes, I second that.
Big thanks to our Belgian hosts and Simon plus all my opponents.
And of course my travelling companions for an excellent weekend of gaming and camaraderie.

Re: The Worlds 2016
Thank you for this nice and warm WE, Jaques and team for hosting, and Simon for his (low tech ) management.
I'm finished 3rd unexpectedly, I knew how to play fast but I learnt at the last game how to speed up the whole game
Cheers,
Fabrice

Re: The Worlds 2016
Thank you to my 6 opponents who had to put up with me - Fabrice, Denis, Thomas Jim, Michel and Bodo. As promised I had planned my defeats with great precision.
Very big thanks to our Belgian hosts - Jacques, Hugo, Martin and the rest of the team (not forgetting Susanne) and Simon for umpiring and organising the FOG R competition.
I look forward to seeing some of you at Derby and hopefully where ever we are next year.
