The shooting dice for Musket troops are listed as 1 per base at short range and 1 per 2 bases at long range, which seems straightforward enough (though no rank specifications?)
However, the shooting dice listing for Musket* doesn't seem to make sense.
"1 dice per base of 1st rank at short range
1 dice per 2 bases of 2nd rank at long range"
So only 2nd rank shoots at long range??

I think you have missed out an "or" in the second line ...

Aha, so I have, thanks.
So if a BG has 4 shooting bases in total it would fire with 3 at short range and 2 at long range.
Was there not a more simple formula that could have been used???

Off the top of my head, could put something in the PoAs instead? Or just clarify the wording: "Long Range: 1 dice per 2 bases; Short Range: 1 dice per Front Rank base plus 1 dice per 2 second rank bases"nikgaukroger wrote:Eques wrote:Aha, so I have, thanks.

I think once you include the "or" it already is pretty clear TBH.Eques wrote:Aha, so I have, thanks.
